A homenagem inclui a entrega da “Medalha Comemorativa da Independência”, na Classe Paz e Desenvolvimento, destacando o impacto cultural e social de Nagrelha, que com sua irreverência e autenticidade contribuiu para a afirmação do kuduro como expressão legítima da identidade popular angolana.
Ícone do grupo Os Lambas, Nagrelha é reconhecido como uma das vozes mais marcantes da música urbana nacional, sendo agora oficialmente inscrito na memória histórica do país como uma figura que ultrapassou os palcos e influenciou uma geração com sua arte, atitude e compromisso com o povo.
